A 500-passenger vessel built specifically for cruising the Chicago skyline, Mystic Blue Cruises offers three enclosed decks plus a relaxing open-air deck. Newly remodeled, sleek, silvery-blue interiors. And unbeatable views from every table.
May I bring my own camera on board?
Guests are more than welcome to bring their own camera for personal pictures
aboard the ship. In addition, as you are boarding, the ship's photographer records
the moment for your entire party. As you depart, you'll find your boarding photo
ready for purchase.
Are children allowed on the dinner cruise?
Children are welcome on the cruise; however, a child rate is not available for
our dinner cruises. Children under 3 are complimentary and a 50% discount is
offered for children between the ages of 3 and 11 on our Brunch and Lunch Cruises.
Is there a coat check where my jacket and briefcase may
be kept during the cruise?
Coat checks are available when needed. Your server would be more than happy
to check any items for you at the beginning of your cruise.
What is our cruise route?
Weather permitting, Mystic Blue cruises south along the lake shore, past the
Adler Planetarium, north to Evanston, then returns south to Navy Pier. All the
while, Odyssey offers unmatched views of our world-famous skyline, from the
Sears Tower, the John Hancock, to the Museum campus, Aon Center and more.
How far off shore does the ship travel?
The ship is licensed to travel as far as 3 miles off shore, however, our cruise
route typically remains only one mile off shore.
Can I bring a birthday cake on-board?
Small cakes that do not require refrigeration are allowed to be brought on board.
Your server will place the cake in our pantry until it is ready to be cut and
served.
What is the dress attire?
The attire is fun and casual, just like the boat.
What type of entertainment do you have?
Mystic Blue Cruises offers inviting dance floors and DJ entertainment aimed
at pleasing your group.

Lunch and Dinner Cruises
On both the Horizon and Escapade decks, we will feature DJ entertainment. The Vista Deck will feature recorded background music.The DJ will play from several different genres of music providing something for every passenger to enjoy.
Midday Cruises
Weather permitting, The Observation Deck will feature a solo guitarist/vocalist; offering a variety of light jazz, adult contemporary, Top 40 classic sing-a-longs.Midnight Cruises
On both the Horizon and Escapade Decks, we will feature DJ entertainment. The Vista Deck will feature recorded background music.The DJ will play a variety of genres including Oldies, Motown, Rock, Retro, Disco, and current Top 40 and Dance for the duration of the cruise.
Is the vessel handicap accessible?
Yes, the Escapade Deck (our main boarding deck), is handicap accessible and
our crew is available for assistance. Please indicate when making your reservation
that you have handicap guests in your party.
Do you offer Kosher meals?
Yes we do offer a Kosher Meal option on our lunch and dinner cruises. We order
from an outside establishment who delivers the meal to us fresh that day/evening.
There is an additional $50.00 charge on top of the ticket price. The meal typically
consists of a plated chicken dish with vegetables. We can do fresh fruit for
your dessert option. Aftyer your reservation is confirmed please contact Mystic
Blue Reservations to discuss any kosher requirements at least 48 hours in advance
of your event.
Do you offer vegetarian meals?
Our Dinner, Lunch, Midday, and Moonlight menus all offer vegetarian options.
If you have any vegans in your party, please ad a comment on the order form
so we can make special arrangements.
Are there restrooms on board?
Yes, restrooms are located on every enclosed deck on the ship.
Is there pre-assigned seating?
As you board, our captain and marine crew will direct you to your deck. From
there, our hostess will show you to your private table(s).
Where do I pick up my tickets?
Your tickets will be at the Mystic Blue Cruises Ticket Booth, located next to
the ship. For your convenience, this booth opens at least one hour prior to
the scheduled boarding time. Please bring a photo ID.
What time does the boat leave?
Please refer to the specific cruise pages for complete boarding and cruising
schedules.
What attractions/historic sites will I be able to see from
the ship?
Weather permitting, Mystic Blue cruises south along the Chicago Lakefront to
the Museum Campus and north, sometimes as far as Evanston, then returns south
to Navy Pier. All the while, Mystic Blue offers unmatched views of our world-famous
skyline, from the Sears Tower, the John Hancock, to the Shedd Aquarium, Aon
Center and more.
What if it rains?
Mystic Blue Cruises will cruise in most weather conditions all-year round. The
dining room is climate controlled and the weather will not affect your cruise.
In the case of severe weather conditions or upon the direction of the U.S. Coast
Guard, the ship will remain dockside for the duration of the event.

PARKING: As traffic in and around Navy Pier can be unpredictable, we recommend you allow ample time for parking. The ship promptly leaves at the scheduled cruise time. Come early. Enjoy the pier.
Primary Parking Information:
Primary public parking is located in an 1800-space lot on Navy Pier, directly across from Odyssey II. If possible, park on the 1st level closest to door 4.In the event that the Navy Pier parking lot is filled to capacity, a number of lots within 2 blocks of Navy Pier offer convenient parking. Also a free trolley shuttle runs between State Street and the pier along Illinois and Grand Avenues.
