Fifteen clues, two hours, one city - this is a self-led scavenger race that sends groups capering around town to solve clues. Unlike other city-wide excursions, this one unshackles racers from the tyranny of official start times and concrete dates. Players simply click on a launch code, head to the starting line, and begin the scavenger hunt whenever they've got a spare two hours. During the process, players will hear fun stories and insights about historical sites while discovering hidden gems along the way.

This adventure will take you through the heart of Chicago and let you see how it has changed over time, while also having fun. This hunt has been evolving over time to be as entertaining as possible, while showing you as much as possible.

Your goal is to race against the clock to finish the hunt as quickly as possible. You will be given a series of clues. Each clue will help you find the next clue. In essence, instead of a scavenger hunt, this is a scavenger race and quest.

When you are ready to start your hunt, purchase your tickets, gather your hunting party, and head to the starting location.

Participants are not required to reserve a set time in order to begin the scavenger hunt. Once purchase is confirmed, you'll be instructed to visit local supplier website. On the day of your scheduled hunt, the website will be your guide through the city.

This 1-hour walking tour begins at the Visitor Information Center on the Lower Level where guests will learn about the history of two great American retail pioneers, R.H Macy’s and Marshall Fields. After 10-15 mins, the group heads to the first level to view the Burnham Fountain, Great Clocks, and State Street granite columns.

This takes approximately 15-20 mins before the group heads up to the 5th floor to view the Tiffany vaulted ceiling. After 5-10 mins, the group proceeds to the 7th floor to learn about the famous Walnut Room restaurant and taste the Frango mint chocolate where they remain for the duration of the tour. Escalators are used to transport from floor to floor, however elevators are available as well for wheelchair accessibility.

The meeting place for the Haunted Hyde Park tour is the portal into the "White City", the location of the 1892 Colombian Exposition. The walk behind the Museum of Science and Industry and into Jackson Park is a journey into the past, present and future of Jackson Park. The Osaka Garden and Wooded Island are the backdrop for stories about H.H. Holmes, the Cold Storage Building fire, Clarence Darrow's Ghost and more. The tour walks through Midway Plaisance and the Gothic Architecture of the University of Chicago. While on campus, the tour will delve into the mystery of Professor Culianu's murder, the Lipstick Killer's dual personalities, Ghost stories at the Frank Lloyd Wright Robie House and real-life mummies at the Oriental Institute.
